These ideas can help you maintain strong connections with your loved ones, no matter the distance, and make the most of digital communication tools to stay in touch effectively. Our kids ages are spread out; our oldest was 16 when our youngest was born. They are in different stages in life and because we have lived abroad, and from one side of Canada to the other and back again, the kids locations are also spread out. We rely on technology to keep us connected. My mom says that she hears more from me when I live abroad that not. I put more effort into connecting with loved ones when I was further away from them. It's not the same, but it really helps and I forget sometimes how long it was since we were together because with regular contact it feels like we were never apart. Make the effort, it's worth it!
